Michael Angelo Medina

Michael Angelo Medina is a professional photographer and videographer. He studied English and Philosophy at the University at Texas Pan-American (now known as UTRGV), before moving on to work for publications such as The Monitor, Pulse Magazine, The Guardian, and US News & World Report. Working professionally since 2012 under the studio name “Photos by Michael Angelo”, Michael’s work has been featured in publications such as The Knot, RGV Wedding Pages, and more. He was also a semi-finalist on the hit show Top Photographer with Nigel Barker, a competitive “survivor”-style show that aired in 2017. Michael has a strong passion for teaching others how to use photography as a business tool, as well as using it for self-expression, coping with grief, and the general encouragement of personal growth.
