MaryAnn Escamilla

MaryAnn Escamilla is a lifelong resident of the Rio Grande Valley. She presently works at UTRGV as a Lecturer in the Department of Writing and Language Studies. She is a graduate of the Creative Writing Master of Fine Arts Program specializing in Literary Non-Fiction. How to write to get paid

Mondays - 4:00pm to 6:00pm

February 11, 2019 – March 18, 2019

The class will address how to find places to pitch your writing idea and the art of creating a pitch for editors in paying publications. Will focus on local, state and national publications. During the course of the class we will focus on writing workshops focused on how to interview, edit and peer review work like an editor.
