Vocal Class

This class is designed to improve each student's singing voice and develop the ability to sing successfully in front of others. During this introductory course of study, they will be taught the fundamentals of healthy vocal production which includes the following:  1) proper posture and breathing to sing, 2) tone production,  3)  diction,  4) expression, and 5)  gaining confidence.  Individual vocal problems will be assessed and exercises will be given to help strengthen and improve the voice. Students will be singing together and also individually for class.

Cumbia and Bachata Beginner Dance Lessons

Cumbia & Bachata are a good form of exercise as there are many styles of dancing. Dancers shifts their weight by stepping, as the upper body remains level weight shifts cause the hips to move as well as arm and shoulder movements are incorporated. Dance socials are commonly held in ballrooms, nightclubs, bars and any outdoor festival.

Intro to Digital Photography

In this hands-on, live instructor class students will learn the basics of digital photography. Students will be introduced to concepts such as aperture, shutter speed, focal point, etc. Students will be taught how to use their digital cameras to capture images. If you have been wanting to learn how to start taking photos and transfer them to your computer, then this is the class for you. No photographic skill or experience is required and students will need to provide their own digital camera. (DSLR CAMERA recommended that will allow you to have manual settings such as aperture control). Seating is limited so please sign up early.

In this hands-on, live-instructor led class students will learn the basics of adobe photoshop software. Students will learn how to manipulate layers, colors, and digital images. Students will be engaged through fun-filled projects such as antique photo restoration, birthday card creation, and digital illustrations. If you have been wanting to learn how to combine your studio art skills with digital art, then this is the class for you. Students must provide their own laptop/computer with adobe photoshop (a free trial version can be obtained at https://www.adobe.com ). Accommodations can be made for those that do not have laptop or software. Seating is limited so please sign up early.
